Located in the heart of the Blythswood Hill area of Glasgow City Centre, the serviced apartment development will transform a vacant gap site and disused existing adjacent office space.

Originally progressing outline proposals produced by ARK Architecture + Design, the project has since undergone a comprehensive redesign to widen and improve the offering of the development. The conversion of 139 West Regent Street will augment a new 7 storey building of serviced apartments which will also include a ground floor restaurant area, gym, lounge areas, and a roof terrace bar promising stunning panoramic views of the city centre.

Significant design challenges were required to be negotiated -most notably the proximity of the Queen St railway tunnel, physical constraints of the site, and heritage considerations associated with new development within the Central Conservation Area. It is hoped once completed the building will reinvigorate the prominent corner of the city centre.
